City of Tucson Recruiting Project Manager

The City is seeking a project manager for its Information Technology department to manage complex projects and coordinate experts from different fields for the duration of each project. This includes assigning work, forecasting timelines, and reviewing and approving plans and documents.

A project manager lays out a clear plan for project execution by developing detailed schedules, defining milestones and deliverables, identifying resource requirements, and coordinating day-to-day activities. A bachelor’s degree and at least three years of experience in managing complex projects and coordinating experts from different fields are required.

Previous city or county government experience is a plus. Applications must be received by Feb. 3. Oral board interviews will be scheduled for the week of Feb. 10.
