City of Tucson Revises Mayor and Council Meeting Agenda and Encourages Public to Watch Online

Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, which have prompted declarations of a public health emergency at both the state and federal levels, tonight's (March 17) meeting of the Mayor and Tucson City Council will be conducted using measures to protect public health.

This meeting will be held remotely through technological means permitted under Arizona law. Specifically, a live stream of the meeting will be broadcast so that members of the public may view and listen to the meeting online.

The Study Session has been canceled and the Regular Meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. as originally scheduled. Some of the items on the agenda may be shortened, continued to a future meeting, or taken out of order.
