Ward 2 City Council Member Paul Cunningham will be partnering with Sonora Environmental Research Institute, Inc., Tucson Fire Department, City of Tucson Lead-Based Paint Hazard Control Program, and Habitat for Humanity to hold an environmental health and safety fair this Saturday. The free community event will take place between 9 a.m. and noon at the Ward 2 Council Office, 7575 E Speedway Blvd.
Bring household items to be tested for lead, learn about rainwater harvesting, hear tips on how to prevent fires and falls, and more.
Tucson Electric Power customers will be eligible to receive a free tree and free LED light bulbs. Participants of the tree care class will be given free mulch.
