County Issues New Guidance for Restaurants as Dine-in Service Begins Today

The Pima County Health Department issued restaurants and other facilities with on-premises dining 17 protective measures they should adopt for dine-in services during the pandemic. The directions come in response to Arizona Governor Doug Ducey’s Executive Order allowing restaurants to resume on-premise dining today.

The measures were informed by a County-sponsored public survey and vetted by the service industry representatives that make up the Restaurants and Bars Task Force of the County’s Back to Business initiative. Businesses that adhere to the minimum standards will be given a badge and poster they can use to notify the public the restaurant is following the County’s protective measures.
