Pima County Superior Court and the Pima County Bar Association are hosting an event this week that aims to educate the public about some of the top filings that appear before judges, such as divorce, child support, probate, debt, and landlord-tenant issues.
The free Court Night event will be held in two sessions this Wednesday, Oct. 18, at the Herbert K. Abrams Public Health Center, 3950 S. Country Club Road. The sessions will run from 4-5:30 p.m. and 5:45-7:45 p.m. People can attend both sessions if they'd like.
Some attorneys will offer presentations, while others will be on hand simply to answer questions. Court Night lawyers primarily provide procedural and general information about how the courts work, but will not offer individual advice or discuss specific cases.
