Curb-Separated Bike Lane Downtown to Be Extended

Living Streets Alliance (LSA) is receiving $5,000 from national outdoor outfitter REI to extend Tucson's first curb-separated bike lane on Stone Avenue. In partnership with LSA and REI, the grant will allow the City of Tucson Department of Transportation to extend the bike lane along Stone Avenue one block south to Pennington Street. It currently ends at Alameda Street. Details on the timeline for construction will be released soon.
