Cyclovia Tucson takes place on Sunday, Oct. 27, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The event returns to South 12th Avenue for “Cyclovia en la Doce” and provides nearly four miles of car-free city streets for Tucsonans of all ages to enjoy. The route extends from the Julian Wash Archeological Park at The Loop (West 39th Street and South 12th Avenue) to Mission Manor Park, just south of Drexel Road.
More than 100 different activities will line the route, concentrated around five hubs. Along the way, there will be live music, hands-on activities, demonstrations, giveaways, community health and wellness resources, kids and family activities, and more. The event is hosted by dozens of community and nonprofit partners. Participating local restaurants will welcome guests with expanded outdoor seating for the day.
Nearly 40,000 participants are expected. Road closures along and near South 12th Avenue will be in effect from approximately 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cyclovia Tucson is a program of Living Streets Alliance. This fall's event features a new partnership with title sponsor Arizona Complete Health.
