Deadline Approaching: How to File Arguments For or Against Propositions

The City of Tucson is accepting written arguments for or against Proposition 205 and Proposition 409, which will both be on the general election ballot on Nov. 5, 2019. Written arguments must be filed with the City Clerk's office no later than 5 p.m., Aug. 7, and will be included in the City of Tucson publicity pamphlet prepared for the election.

A check or money order for $240 must be submitted to offset a portion of the proportionate costs of the paper and printing of the argument. Arguments may be filed in English or Spanish.
