Starting Jan. 1, 2019, the City of Tucson's Planning and Development Services Department (PDSD) will only accept and review submittals online for development packages, subdivision plats, technical standards modification requests, parking design modification requests, Thursday pre-submittal meetings with the City Development Review Committee, and land splits.
Once the application has been submitted through the file upload portal, the applicant will receive notification within five working days acknowledging the application is complete and under review by staff. The invoiced application fees must be paid in person or mailed with a check prior to completion of the first substantive review.
Moving to a paperless process will save both customer and staff time, as well as resources for printing. Building plans may still be submitted via paper during the calendar year 2019.
