The seventh annual Envision Tucson Sustainable Festival takes place Sunday, Nov. 12, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., at the YWCA, 525 N. Bonita Ave. (west of the Santa Cruz River, between St. Mary’s Road and Congress Street).
More than 40 exhibitors, vendors, and hands-on demonstrations and activities will address sustainability in many ways, including food and its preparation, green building and solar/electric options, recycling/upcycling, water and energy efficiency, and other local and regional actions. The festival also features local food, refreshments, and music.
Admission is free, and there will be plenty of parking for bicycles. This is an event that brings together individuals, organizations, and companies working to create a resilient future for Tucson.
