The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Warning for Tucson from 11 a.m. tomorrow through 7 p.m. Thursday. The very hot temperatures (110-115 degrees) will significantly increase the potential for heat-related illness for those working or exercising outdoors during the daytime. The heat also could create problems for those without access to adequate air conditioning.
The hottest temperatures will occur Monday through Thursday.
Meanwhile, several cooling sites have been established as part of the 2017 Summer Sun Respite.
