Representatives from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will host a presentation to share information and resources regarding telecommunications issues and hear directly from community members about their telecommunications concerns.
The event is Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 6 p.m. at the Ward 6 Council Office, 3202 E. 1st St. Topics include unwanted robocalls and "spoofing," telephone billing procedures called "slamming" and "cramming," how to protect your smart device from being lost or stolen, how changes in broadcast TV may be impacting our area, and how to file complaints with the FCC.
