Final Public Meeting Tonight on Tobacco Issues

The Pima County Health Department is concluding multiple community stakeholder meetings to discuss proposed County ordinance changes, giving retailers and community members the opportunity to provide feedback and ask questions. The ordinance changes would raise the minimum legal age to purchase tobacco products to 21 years old, create a tobacco retail permit system, and amend the current smoking ordinance to include vaping products.

The final public meeting will be held tonight, March 4, at 6 p.m. at the Abrams Public Health Center, 3950 S. Country Club Road.
