Two car seat safety classes are scheduled for Tucson parents on the proper installation and fit of the seats, and free car seats will be handed out at the completion of classes. GEICO is partnering with Safe Kids Pima County and the Tucson Police Department to host monthly classes, which are free and open to the public.
The next class will be held Monday, May 22, at 6:30 p.m. at 930 N. Finance Center Drive. Another is scheduled for June 26 at the same time and location. Space is limited to 35 attendees per session. You can reserve a space by calling (520) 546-7340.
Since GEICO began the child safety seat program in 2009, close to 6,000 car seats have been provided to Tucson-area families.
