Free Map Tucson Training for the Public This Week

The City of Tucson’s GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Services is hosting two Map Tucson trainings that are open to the public. The free trainings take place tomorrow, Aug. 20, 1:30-3 p.m. and Friday, Aug. 23, 9:30-11 a.m. Both are at the City’s Information Technology building, 481 W. Paseo Redondo, Pueblo Room.

Map Tucson is a one-stop, web-GIS tool that allows someone to query and map the City of Tucson’s most-used spatial data. GIS Services helps all City departments collect, analyze, and communicate their geographic data for internal and public use. Those attending will need to bring their own devices.
