The public is invited to attend the Grant Road Improvement Project open house, hosted by the City of Tucson Department of Transportation (TDOT) and the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA). The gathering will take place tomorrow, 5:30-7 p.m., at the Tucson Association of Realtors, 2445 N. Tucson Blvd. There will be a brief presentation by the project team at 5:45 p.m.
The improvements to the 5-mile section of Grant Road between Oracle Road and Swan Road include widening the roadway to six lanes with bike lanesand streetscape and pedestrian improvements to create a state-of-the-art, multimodal transportation corridor. The open house will give the public an opportunity to see the plan and ask questions about the final design of the Grant Road Improvement Project, funded by the RTA and managed by the City of Tucson.
