Twenty winning haiku poems recently chosen by Tucson's Poet Laureate TC Tolbert are being displayed along Congress Street and Stone Avenue every day until dusk, through June 1. The "haiku hike" is about a half-mile long.
The Downtown Tucson Partnership (DTP) and the University of Arizona Poetry Center received 987 haiku entries in the inaugural competition. Of those entries, 825 came from Tucson and the others came from 12 different states and five countries. You can learn more about the contest and the winners by following the links below.
