Hockey Returns to Tucson Arena

Arizona Wildcat Hockey has its first home game of the 2019-2020 season at the Tucson Arena tomorrow, Oct. 17, against the Colorado Buffaloes. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m.

The Tucson Roadrunners, American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes, will open home play for the new season with games on Friday, Oct. 18, and Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Tucson Arena. Both games begin at 7:05 p.m. and are against the San Antonio Rampage, the AHL affiliate of the St. Louis Blues, the 2019 Stanley Cup champions.

Opening night for the Roadrunners features pregame festivities with rally towels given to the first 1,500 fans, courtesy of Williams & Associates. Fans are also encouraged to attend the pregame plaza party outside Tucson Arena. Players will arrive on the Red Carpet and enter the arena through the front doors of the Tucson Convention Center beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Bags that are larger than 13 5/8" x 15 1/4" will not be permitted through the security zone. Large bags, briefcases, backpacks, luggage, and convertible backpack purses are strictly prohibited.
