Household Hazardous Waste Collection Tomorrow

Safely dispose of paints, chemicals, oils, pesticides, and certain other items that are sitting unused in your shed or garage. The City of Tucson Eastside Service Center, 7575 E. Speedway Blvd., is open Saturday, Dec. 7, 8 a.m.-noon, for household hazardous waste (HHW) collection.

Drop-off is free for city residents. Please do not bring medical waste, dried paint, ammunition, explosives, or CRT monitors. Vehicles should enter north from Prudence Road.

City residents can also drop off household hazardous waste at the main site at 2440 W. Sweetwater Drive on Fridays, 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m., or at the Los Reales Landfill at 5300 E. Los Reales Road, Monday-Saturday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. This service is free, and address verification is required. Anyone living outside the city will be charged a $10 fee.
