Information for Citizens Currently Affected by Government Shutdown

With the federal government partial shutdown about a month old, more federal workers are beginning to feel the effects of missed paychecks. For those with questions, the websites of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and Office of Management and Budget's Contingency Plan are offering guidance to employees and the public.

U.S. Rep. Raúl Grijalva of Arizona also has published a list of questions and answers about the shutdown. Some of the highlighted questions include information about unemployment benefits, furlough days, information for contractors, veterans issues, pensions, Medicare, and much more.
