Mayor Regina Romero Discusses Her First Few Days in Office in NPR Radio Interview

New Tucson Mayor Regina Romero appeared last week on Here & Now, a National Public Radio show, to discuss her first few days in office. Romero is the city's first woman and the first Latina mayor.

She talked about chairing her first meeting of the Mayor and Tucson City Council, voters' rejection of Proposition 205 (a sanctuary initiative), and the demographics of Tucson's population that created the opportunity for her to serve as council member for 12 years and now as the city's mayor.
