Mayor Romero Speaks with MSNBC About Coronavirus Surge

Tucson Mayor Regina Romero joined Ayman Mohyeldin on MSNBC this morning, June 17, to speak about the surge of COVID-19 cases in the state.

Romero is calling on Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey to "acknowledge there is a problem" and issue stricter public health orders, including allowing her and her counterparts to make it mandatory that people in Tucson and other cities wear masks when out in public. She says communication with Ducey has stopped and her calls haven't been returned, but she said she was invited to fill out a request form to meet with him.
