New Jobs Report Shows Positive Signs of Growth

The Tucson area is expected to add 7,100 jobs this year, according to a report from Picor Commercial Real Estate. The report says the projected job growth could mean a steady rise in home prices and commercial properties in the area.

New or expanding retail absorbed more than 386,000 square feet of space in 2016, the Picor report shows. Industrial activity also showed growth last year, as did the number of building permits.
