The City of Tucson is prioritizing bicycle safety at Sentinel Peak Park by unveiling new signage along Sentinel Peak Road. The sign unveiling will take place Monday, March 2, 3:33 p.m., at Sentinel Peak Park lower parking lot, 1000 Sentinel Peak Road. Parking will be available in the lower parking lot.
The City partnered with the Rob Dollar Foundation and plans to install signs that will remind motorists to share the road and to give people on bicycles ample room when passing. State law requires a minimum of three feet to pass bicycles.
