Harsch Investment Properties held a groundbreaking yesterday, Nov. 29, on a 157,500-square-foot speculative building at the Tucson Airport Distribution Center Building B, 6860 S. Brosius Ave. Construction is expected to be completed by Nitti Builders later next year.
The developer says the facility will be key in providing potential tenants in the distribution, fulfillment, and logistics industries with the ability to take advantage of the proximity to I-10, I-19, and Tucson International Airport. "I'm looking forward to seeing this new distribution center go up," said Tucson Mayor Jonathan Rothschild. "It's located in the right spot, in the heart of our logistics and manufacturing center, and the developer is very experienced in large industrial projects such as this one. (This is) more good news for Tucson."
With the recent Medina Business Park acquisition and the new building at the Tucson Airport Distribution Center, Harsch will own 657,233 square feet of property in Tucson.
