Tucson 12 Wins National Awards (Video)

Tucson 12 won three awards last week, as the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA) honored the winners of the 31st Annual Government Programming Awards in Austin, Texas. The City's television station won a Second Place award for "Zoo News – Underdogs" and Third Place award for "Video Journalism – Lety Bazurto-Mathews." Tucson 12 also garnered an Honorable Mention for “The Evolution of the Sun Link Streetcar." You can watch the winning videos below.     

Celebrate Modernism Week

Several events are scheduled over the next week or so to recognize Modernism Week in Tucson. The event, which actually spans nine days, includes home tours, art galleries, lectures, a mid-century marketplace, vintage trailers, Eckbo landscape tours, a bus tour of mid-century architecture in Nogales, and more.
