The Tucson Parks and Recreation Department held it first community-wide open house last night to gather public input on how it can best deliver recreation and leisure opportunities. The draft five-year master plan anticipates future needs and outlines the actions necessary to deliver high-quality recreation facilities, programs, and services to the Tucson area. Public and stakeholder input is essential and critical to the success of the master plan. If you missed last night's open house, there's another one tonight, 5:30-7:30, at the Donna Liggins Center 2160 N. 6th Ave.
The public process provides opportunities for input through the project website linked below or email to email@example.com. A schedule of the remaining stakeholder focus group meetings is posted on the website.
