The Tucson Parks and Recreation department will hold more community-wide open houses this week to gather public input on how it can best deliver recreation and leisure opportunities. The draft five-year master plan anticipates future needs and outlines the actions necessary to deliver high-quality recreation facilities, programs, and services to the Tucson area.
The next open house will be held tomorrow from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at El Pueblo Activity Center's Multipurpose Room, 101 W. Irvington Road. Public and stakeholder input is essential and critical to the success of the master plan. The public process provides opportunities for input through the project website or email to firstname.lastname@example.org. A schedule of the remaining stakeholder focus group meetings is posted on the website.
