Parks and Rec Recruiting Project Manager

The Tucson Parks and Recreation department is hiring an experienced project manager with demonstrated success in leading multiple complex construction projects. The position manages projects and coordinates experts from different fields for the duration of each project.

The successful candidate will prepare forecasts of needed funds, assist in developing and implementing project budgets, and monitor expenditures of Proposition 407. The $225 million, voter-approved bond package of 2018 is dedicated to improving City of Tucson parks and amenities, as well as improving connections, such as pedestrian and bicycle pathways for mobility and safety.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, at least three years of experience in managing projects, coordinating with experts from different fields, and possessing a valid and unrestricted Class D Driver License.

Applications must be received by April 28. Oral board interviews will be held the week of May 6.
