Pima Association of Governments Needs Volunteers for Bike and Pedestrian Count

The Pima Association of Governments (PAG) is conducting its annual bicycle and pedestrian count this month.

Volunteers are needed to help with weekday morning and evening counts or weekend morning counts at approximately 80 locations in our region. Results of the count help determine and prioritize locations for future bicycle and pedestrian safety improvements.

A training session is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 5, from 6-7 p.m. at Himmel Library, 1035 N. Treat Ave. PAG counts began in 2008 to help evaluate bike/pedestrian planning efforts.

Sign up to be a volunteer.
