Tucson Water is reminding customers that its telephone lines will be much busier than normal on Tuesday, Dec. 26, and Tuesday, Jan. 2. Both days follow holidays/weekends, and the number of phone calls is expected to increase by nearly 50 percent.
Customers are asked to manage their services through established online accounts on the utility’s website as much as possible on the above dates. Options include Tucson Utility Billing/Click2Gov for one-time payments, Utility Services eBill to view statements and/or multiple accounts, and Automated Bill Payment, which is set up through one’s checking or savings account.
Tucson Water’s website also offers online forms for starting or stopping residential service (water, garbage/recycle, sewer/wastewater).
