Plan Tucson Progress Report Released

Plan Tucson, the City of Tucson’s General and Sustainability Plan, was adopted by voters in 2013, and the City has released a progress report detailing key accomplishments in achieving the goals of the plan over the past five years. The report was presented to the Mayor and Tucson City Council on May 7.

The progress report highlights key achievements, including the opening of the Sun Link streetcar, revitalization of downtown, construction of new affordable housing, designation as a UNESCO City of Gastronomy, expansion of Tucson's job base, safeguarding of the city's long-term water supply, and more.
