There is no safe place outside when thunderstorms are present. If you hear thunder, you are likely within striking distance of lightning. In the latest edition of "No Bad Days With Barrett" on KGUN9, Tucson Fire Capt. Barrett Baker says when the thunder roars, go indoors.
