Two developers shared their proposals this week for the Ronstadt Transit Center Joint Development Project. Both projects would keep the Ronstadt Center as a bus hub, while adding housing and retail spaces. After that, the proposals are quite different.
You can see video of the full presentations at the Tucson 12 website. Materials presented are posted on the Office of Integrated Planning (OIP) website. The public presentations were part of the second phase of a two-step city Request For Proposals process to select a redevelopment project for 4.7 acres of City land in downtown Tucson.
Questions and comments can be submitted through next Friday to Rebecca Ruopp at Rebecca.Ruopp@tucsonaz.gov. The selection committee will begin meeting in September to make a recommendation to the City Council in November. Read more from the Arizona Daily Star.
