Students, educators, and working adults are encouraged to register for The Future of Work, a forum scheduled for Friday, Jan. 10, 4-6:30 p.m. at the University of Arizona Student Union Ballroom, 1303 E. University Blvd. The cost is $10 per person.
The event features several of southern Arizona’s primary workforce development leaders and educators who will discuss career opportunities created by automation and learning/training/retraining now underway in classrooms. Those attending will have the opportunity to learn how to steer their education toward the automated future, discover how to prepare tomorrow’s tech-proficient workforce, and explore paths to retooling their careers.
Parking is free in the Second Street Garage or the Highland Garage on campus. Light refreshments will be provided.
