Road Repair Progressing in Tucson

Money from the voter-approved, $100 million, five-year Road Recovery street bond program in 2012 already has improved more than 134 miles of roadway, and the work continues to improve additional streets.

The bond money pays for repaving, while the bigger widening projects are funded by the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA), a 20-year program approved by voters in 2006.
