Slow Down Because of Sun Glare

This is the time of year when the sun rises and sets in line with Tucson’s east/west streets, meaning more of us are commuting during times of significant sun glare. The blinding glare affects visibility and reaction time, putting people walking, biking, and driving at greater risk.

The Tucson Transportation Department reminds everyone to slow down, look closely for people, and ride bikes with proper lighting.
