Syposium on Water Supplies Next Week in Arizona

The AZ Water Association is hosting a symposium called “Using Alternative Water Supplies in New Ways” next Tuesday, Jan. 9, in Tempe. There will be keynote speakers, technical panels, advanced treatment demonstrations, and a student/young professional poster session/competition.

Tucson Water director Tim Thomure is part of a panel presentation on potable reuse in Arizona. Apache Junction Plant Supervisor Mike Loggins, the keynote speaker, will talk about the city’s Surface Water Drinking Plant and Tucson Water Project Manager Dan Quintanar will moderate a panel and student poster competition.

The event is tailored for utility professionals, industry experts, researchers, and students. Registration is required, and there is a fee. Lunch will be catered.
