Tucson Among Possible Sites for F-35 Squadron

Davis-Monthan Air Force Base is among four sites under consideration for an Air Force Reserve F-35A Lightning II fighter squadron by 2023. The Air Force made the announcement yesterday. The other bases under consideration are in Florida, Texas, and Missouri.

The targeted A-10 full retirement year is 2022, but D-M could start losing some of its A-10s by 2018.
