Tucson City Court and Tucson Police Department Host Outreach Event for the Deaf

Tucson City Court’s Domestic Violence Court and the Tucson Police Department (TPD) are hosting a Cops, Courts, and Coffee event tomorrow, Feb. 2, as an outreach to Tucson’s deaf community. The 5-7 p.m. event will be held at the Tucson Deaf Community Center, 1436 N. 11th Ave. Coffee and doughnuts will be provided.

Detectives from the TPD's Domestic Violence Unit also will be on hand with traffic officers to speak and answer questions. In addition, the event will include Emerge! Center Against Domestic Abuse and Community Outreach Program for the Deaf. Both agencies are Domestic Violence Court partners.
