The annual Tucson Festival of Books takes place Saturday and Sunday, March 14 and 15, 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. (both days), and volunteers are being recruited now. The festival takes place on the campus of the University of Arizona and features hundreds of authors, panelists, and exhibitors.
Volunteers are needed to help with information booths, presentations, greeting and escorting authors, answering questions, managing lines, selling books, workshops, panel discussions, and more. No experience is necessary. There are nearly 2,000 opportunities.
All volunteers will receive a special, limited-edition 2020 volunteer T-shirt. The festival is free, and all proceeds go toward area literacy programs. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
