Tucson Fire Performs Swift Water Rescue

Tucson Fire Department (TFD) crews yesterday rescued two people and a dog from their vehicle after it became stuck in high water flowing through the neighborhood wash at the intersection of East Lee Street and Santa Rosa Avenue. Nobody was injured.

TFD says while this type of call happens with much more frequency during the summer monsoon, this is a reminder that washes with flowing water can be dangerous, especially in residential neighborhoods.
