Tucson Organizations Join to Host Community Resources Awareness Fair

More than 25 Tucson organizations will be in attendance at a citywide community resources awareness fair on Saturday, Jan. 12, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is free and will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meetinghouse, 105 N. Norton Ave.

Resources presented will include debt and money management, legal services, employment and career training, emergency preparedness, crisis management, health advice, addiction recovery, senior independence, refugee assistance, family services, community service opportunities, Hispanic resources, and tax help. Individuals and families are asked to bring income verification to help with applying for assistance.

Tables with information and displays will be set up throughout the duration of the event, while 45-minute seminars will be held in the various classrooms. For more information, contact Margaret Madriz at (520) 405-6039.
