Tucson Police Seeking Volunteers for Reality-Based Training

The Tucson Police Department (TPD) is looking for role player volunteers to help provide reality-based training for police officers. Using community members as role players in scenarios that a police officer may experience enhances an officer’s training significantly.

Attendance at a role-playing volunteer workshop is mandatory to be considered for the training. The workshop is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 15, 6-8 p.m. at the Southern Arizona Law Enforcement Training Center, 10001 S. Wilmot Road.
