Tucson Roadrunners to Honor First Responders This Weekend

The Tucson Roadrunners hockey team will host First Responders Night this Saturday, Feb. 2, as the team faces the Colorado Eagles at the Tucson Arena.

The festivities will begin with a Lights & Sirens pregame event at 5 p.m. in front of the Tucson Convention Center (Lot A). There will be numerous cars, motorcycles, trucks, and additional items from first responders, and fans can take advantage of free fingerprinting services from the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP).

The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. A 4-on-4 scrimmage between Tucson Police Department and Tucson Fire Department players will occur during the first intermission, and Police Chief Chris Magnus and Interim Fire Chief Joe Gulotta will serve as celebrity Zamboni riders.

Saturday is also Phoenix Roadrunners Night. The team will wear limited-edition Phoenix Roadrunners throwback jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game. For more information and ticket prices, please follow the links below.
