The Tucson Water Department is recruiting a utility account relations specialist to work in its Utility Services Call Center.
This is a fast-paced environment, handling billing and inquiries for water, sewer/wastewater, and garbage/recycling services. The position also provides customer service by assisting with activations, terminations, and transfers of utility services; high bill inquiries and field service requests; and past due, delinquent accounts, and payment extensions.
The successful applicant will have at least one year of experience answering a multi-line telephone. A six-week training period is provided upon hiring. Applications must be received by Nov. 10.
