Tucson Water Hosting Public Meeting on Proposed Rate Increases

Tucson Water is hosting a public meeting to share information and receive public comments on proposed rate increases for Fiscal Year 2021 through Fiscal Year 2024.

The meeting will be Tuesday, March 10, 5:30-7:30 p.m., at the Valencia Branch Library, 202 W. Valencia Road. Spanish translation services will be available.

Staff will present the recommended rate adjustments and proposed rate schedule. The utility's revenues fund all utility operations, including maintaining and delivering high-quality and reliable water service, planning for current and future water resource and infrastructure needs, promoting water conservation throughout the community, and providing utility bill assistance for low-income customers.

A public hearing is scheduled at the May 5 meeting of Tucson’s Mayor and Council.
