Tucson's Birthday Stamp Design Contest Underway

Have fun celebrating Tucson's 240th birthday on Aug. 20 by having your children design a postage stamp. There are three age categories in the contest. Winning designs will be featured on the Postal History Foundation website and local media. One design will be used to print custom stamps that are legal for postage. Three of the winning designs will be chosen as cachets to be printed on envelopes to commemorate Tucson’s birthday. Winners of each age group will be given several prizes, along with ribbons and certificates. The custom stamps and cachets will be available for sale beginning the day of the awards. Learn about the contest rules and and complete and entry form. The design deadline is July 31 at 3 p.m.
