Two City Departments Presented Statewide Public Works Awards

Tucson Water’s Administrator of Strategic Initiatives, Jeff B. Biggs, received the 2016 Outstanding Public Works Employee Award during the Arizona Chapter of the American Public Works Association's statewide conference yesterday at the Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf and Tennis Resort. The award recognizes Biggs’ achievements, including 35 years of work in various water-related capacities.

Meanwhile, the Tucson Department of Transportation's (TDOT) Kino Parkway/22nd Street Grade-Separated Intersection Improvement Project won the 2016 Public Works Project of the Year.
