The City of Tucson is hosting two community input events to provide information and receive community input on Roger Road Pedestrian Safety and Walkability, a Proposition 407-funded project.
The first is tomorrow, Nov. 19, 5:30-7 p.m., at the Ellie Towne Flowing Wells Community Center, 1660 W. Ruthrauff Road. The second is Saturday, Nov. 23, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., at the northwest corner of Roger Road and Fairview Avenue.
Project plans are to add sidewalks, landscaping, and other walkability improvements to Roger Road between Oracle Road and Romero Road. It is funded by Proposition 407, a bond package approved by voters to fund improvements to parks and construction of new bicycle and pedestrian routes.
